In 2016, HealthForce Minnesota collaborated with five other Minnesota State Centers of Excellence, to create a new STEM camp model called Camp Explore. Camp Explore allowed students to have hands-on experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics careers.
2016 held tremendous growth with a 66 percent increase in attendance from 2015. Nineteen events included three Girls ConnectZ Scrubs Day Camps, fifteen Summer Scrubs Camps, and piloting a new STEM Camp – Camp Explore. Full 2016 highlights can be found here.
