If you’re participating in the Girl Scout ConnectZ program offered by the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys, HealthForce Minnesota has a new Scrubs Camp for you!
Middle and high school girls who are part of the Girls Scouts ConnectZ program may attend a designated local college campus where they’ll learn how to flush an IV, how to take vital signs — and even dissect a sheep’s heart. Along with other hands on activities, they also learn what it takes to get ready for college.
Even if you’ve never thought about going to college before, this camp could help you see what it’s like to work in medicine. You’ll also meet people who can help you make a plan for gaining the educating you need to be successful in your career.
For more information about or to register for ConnectZ Scrubs Day Camp, visit the Girls Scouts ConnectZ website.
