Winona Health doctor provides exceptional care to patients.

Winona Health

Winona Health is a rural healthcare system that has been community-owned for 114 years. Its services address the full spectrum of the community’s primary healthcare needs through its hospital, senior services, and primary and specialty physician clinics.

Winona Health has pioneered a community-wide, integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR), which allows physicians and healthcare providers to access patients’ medical records wherever they are seen. It also includes a secured messaging system that allows patients to interact electronically with their providers and view portions of their EMR.

With over 1,200 employees, 350 volunteers and 60 physicians, the concepts of “community” and “education” are embedded in Winona Health’s culture, directly correlating to HealthForce Minnesota’s mission and goals.

Education and innovation are keys to helping the organization reach its vision of being a recognized leader in the transformation of community healthcare.
