The purpose of this project is to revise the model of delivery for the nurse administrator and nurse educator focus areas in the Master’s Program in Nursing at Winona State University for improved access by registered nurses in remote and distant regions of southeast Minnesota and surrounding areas of Northeast Iowa and Western Wisconsin.
The project will involve revision of the current advanced nursing education model for a distance delivery of both credit and non-credit programming. Involvement of the Center for Integrated Health Science Education and Practice (CIHSEP) education and industry partners in the development and delivery of the project will provide assurance of the fit of the new delivery model with the needs of nurses in the region.
