HealthForce Minnesota, Health Science Partnership, and Education to Careers co-sponsored the 2008 Health Career Day Camp on June 9-11, 2008. The camp was held at the Rochester Health Science Careers Center and gave student in grades 6-8 the opportunity to explore a variety of healthcare careers. Forty-one students participated in a variety of hand-on and interactive activities. Some of the sessions students attended included nursing, pharmacy, genetics, hypnosis, yoga, prosthetic Lab, sonography, animal science, sports medicine, EMT/G. Cross. Students also toured the Olmsted Medical Center.
